CBSE UGC NET 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to declare the National Eligibility Test (NET) Results 2017 today (May 10). CBSE conducted the NET exam on January 22nd, 2017. A total of 7.94 lakh candidates appeared for this exam all over the country. The answer key for all the OMR sheets was released on already and students calculated their expected marks.
CBSE had conducted the NET 2017 exam on 22 January 2017. The exam is held every year for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges. This year the exam was conducted in 84 subjects at 90 cities across the country.

Candidates can check their Results on CBSE NET 2017 on the official website which is likely to be declared today. According to the UGC NET rules, candidates who qualify for the Junior Fellowship Research (JRF) can pursue their Post Graduation in the subject and are eligible to be an Assistant Professor. Whereas a candidate who only qualify UGC NET exams but not JRF is only eligible for being appointed as Assistant Professor in any university, college across India.

- Log on to the official website cbsenet.nic.in
- Click on the link NET Result 2017
- Enter Roll number and date of Birth
- Click on the submit button
- The Results will be displayed on the screen
- Take printouts of the result for further use.
