DHE Odisha Plus Two Admission 2017 First Merit List Announced

DHE Odisha Plus Two Admission 2017: The DHE Odisha Plus Two Admission 2017 First Merit list announced was officially by the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at www.dheodisha.gov.in. Nearly, 1,578 colleges participate in this admission process conducted by the Student Academic Management System (SAMS). There are around 4,19,641 seats on offer in the junior colleges for the academic year 2017-18.

Available College Lists:

This year, both online and offline admissions will be held for nearly 1,520 junior colleges. Arts, Science and Commerce, streams students will contest for over 4 lakh seats. Students can check the cut-off marks for their desired colleges in the Student Academic Management Systems (SAMS).The Ravenshaw Junior College in Cuttack, Is More Popular educational institution of the State has the highest cut-off (93.17%) followed by BJB College in Bhubaneswar with 92.67% threshold marks. Other colleges in the list of 90 per cent and above cut off in Science Stream, are Saraswati (Junior) Vidya Mandir, Neelakantha Nagar, Berhampur and Basic Science & Humanities (Junior) College, Bhubaneswar.

BJB College continued to maintain its dominance in Commerce and Arts streams recording 83.60% and 75.33 % respectively while Ravenshaw stood second with 80.67% and 73.67% respectively.Other top colleges asking for high cut-offs in science are:

1.Fakir Mohan College, Balasore (87.17%)

2.Khalikote College, Ganjam (87.67)

3.Ramadevi Women’s College, Bhubaneswar (85.50%).

The minimum marks for Arts stream in FM College is 74% followed by Ramadevi (71.67%) and Khalikote (63%).The reservation will be as per the general norms of 22.55% for Scheduled Tribes and 16.25% for Scheduled Caste.
