The CAT scores are used for admission to various management institutes across the country. The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) on November 26, 2017. Earlier, the results were expected to be on January 5. But it was released today on the official website.
Candidates selected in CAT 2017 will be called up for WAT (Writing Ability Test), GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) round, before they get finally selected to the premier management institutes of India. Based on the scores of CAT and their performance in WAT, GD, and PI, management aspirants get placed in the 20 IIMs and other business schools across the country.
