While his fans have been waiting patiently for an announcement regarding his next, reports suggest that it will be a biopic on the legendary freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

According to the reports that Chiranjeevi is doing a lot of homework to get into the skin of the character he is to portray. As per the sources, the actor Chiranjeevi is practising sword fighting and horse riding to play the legendary freedom fighter. In order to bring authenticity to the role, Chiranjeevi is doing everything within his power, we hear.
The actor can been seen practising horse riding at the Race Course Club in Hyderabad. Surendhar Reddy will be the director for the film and he has done extensive research to get the story right. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is the first Indian to revolt against the British rule. He revolted at least a decade before India’s First War of Independence in 1857. He was hanged to death on February 22, 1847. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy controlled about 60 villages including Uyyalawada, Gulladurti, Harivaram, Narsipalle, Pampalle, Uppaluru, Koilakuntla and Kotthakota.
Surprise: The ruins of the fort at Kotthakota are still in existence. Sources say that Surendhar Reddy is scouting for two heroines to pair up with Chiranjeevi in the film as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy had two wives. The actor will have to undergo a major transformation to play this role and his looks are being worked out. The producer of this film is the actor Ram Charan under his own banner of Konidela Productions.
