GATE 2018: This year Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 is being organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. GATE is a qualifying examination for admissions to M.Tech and other Post Graduate programs. The GATE scores are also used for PSUs recruitment purposes.
GATE 2018 online application process began on September 1st, 2017 and ended on October 9, 2017. Applicants started to prepare for the exam and are eagerly waiting to get their admit cards for the exam. The GATE 2018 exams will be conducted on first two weeks of February 2018.
The admit card for GATE 2018 was scheduled to be released on January 5 and can be downloaded on the GOAPS website. The admit card of GATE 2018 has the following details such as Candidate’s Name, Signature, Photo, Exam Day Instructions, Exam Date, Time (Slot), Registration Number, Exam Center Address, and GATE Paper/ Code. Candidates are asked to check the admit card once they receive it whether all the pieces of information mentioned in it is correct or not. Candidates should bring admit card or Hall ticket to the examination center at the time of GATE exam 2018.
Candidates who have applied for GATE 2018 should attend Mock test of their stream on the official website. This is compulsory in order to make the aspirants clear about the question pattern and about the marks and also to get the idea about the questions that are to be asked in the exam.
Steps to Download Admit Card for GATE 2018
- Log on to the GOAPS website
- Enter the Application number and login details
- Click on the submit button
- The admit card of the respective candidate will be displayed
- Download it and printout for future use
