This is not the first time that Chetan Bhagat novels are directed as films “3 idiots“, “2 States“,”Kai Po Che” are already make box office hits and now his another story “Half GirlFriend” ready to launch.The background music and the film songs are composed by Raju Singh who has composed for all of Mohit Suri’s previous films. “Thodi Der”, a duet song in the voice of Shreya Ghoshal and Farhan Saeed, theater are awesome. The cinematography and edition are done by Vishnu Rao and Devendra Murudeshwar. The film was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Sobha Kapoor.

The story of the film is about a Bihari boy falling in love with a girl from upper-class society. The name of Bihari boy is Madhav Jha, which will be played by Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor plays the role as Riya Somani. The movie will be extensively shot in Mumbai, New York, London and in Bihar.
