IND vs AUS U19: India faced Australia in Under-19 ICC World Cup 2018 today at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. In the game, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. They have scored 216 Runs and set 217 as a target for India. Then India U19 team started their innings. But after 4 overs play was stopped due to rain.
The match was stopped for half an hour and the game continued then once the rain stopped. Indian players had a good match as the partnership worked out well. Manjot Kalra scored the century and not out in this match. Hence he is the man of the match and the player of the series is Shubman Gill.
Prithvi Shaw captain of Indian team U19 is very happy about the game in winning the world cup title for the fourth time for India. The team was led by former captain Rahul Dravid and he said that the Under 19 team has deserved their victory for their sincere work and practice for the past 14 months.
Already India, have won World Cup champions in 2000, 2008 and 2012. Now it is the fourth time to win World Cup title against Australia in the big finals of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup and created a history. The reason for this big win because of bowlers who have taken last six wickets of Australia team. Later, Manjot Kalra who scored 101 not out, Gill scored 60 Desai scored well which were worked out for the victory.
