While looking down the barrel, Royals road to the Playoffs looks almost over. Thus, Samson is thinking on similar lines, adding it’s has gone further tougher for the Jaipur-based franchise.

Overall, RR lost seven games in which three came in the last five games, Samson admitted the fact that they’re dependent on the results of other teams too. He added Royals would’ve been in contention had they won their all five games.

Following an unbeaten hundred from their former skipper Ajinkya Rahane, the hosts put up 193 for four on the scoreboard in 20 allotted overs. However, Capitals rode on a 72-run stand between Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan before Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten 78 off 36 balls saw guests home in 19.2 overs.
