Jackpot Movie Review: After Raatchasi, Jyothika’s movie Jackpot is scheduled to release on theatres from 2nd August 2019 worldwide. The film stars Jyothika and Revathy in the main lead roles as police cops while Samuthirakani, Mansoor Ali Khan, Yogi Babu, and Anandaraj play pivotal roles. The film is produced by actor Suriya under his production banner 2D Entertainment.
The audio of the film was launched by last week and the music was composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The film ‘Jackpot’, directed by Kalyaan of ‘Gulaebaghavali’ fame. The film promises to be an entertaining fantasy black comedy. We had earlier reported that the film’s official trailer was released, followed by the full audio of the album and a sneak peek video.
All About Jackpot Movie
The sneak peek video features Anandharaj in dual roles. One as a female police inspector and another as a local don who comes to meet his sister. Thus the film is expected to have more humor than usual and as the title suggests, is about a jackpot won at the lottery.
Jyothika is donning the khaki for the second time in her acting career after she played a cop in Bala’s ‘Naachiyaar’. Interestingly, Jyotika has done some fight sequences without going for a stunt double. Both the lead actresses were also seen in the doctor’s uniform.
The film is touted to be a black comedy with a touch of action sequence and drama with enough commercial elements and ample comedy from Yogi Babu. The movie also stars Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Anandraj, Rajendran and Mansoor Ali Khan.

Overseas review of the movie Jackpot is more positive. This is a commercial comedy film where Jyothika and Revathi have given their best. It will be the recent time comedy movie which clashes with Nayathara’s thriller movie Kolaiyudhir Kaalam. Jyothika has a stunning performance in the film Jackpot and he stole the show all the way.
