Watch Jagame Thandhiram: Dhanush’s most expected movie Jagame Thandhiram is all set to release today in Netflix. The movie will be streaming on Netflix from 12:30 PM IST on June 18th 2021. It is the first Indian film releasing in 17 languages and 190 countries through Netflix.
Jagame Thandhiram was set to release in theatres on May 2020. Due to coronavirus pandemic, the film release was postponed almost for a year. Since there is no choice of reopening theatres in this lockdown situation, producer Sashikanth opted for OTT release instead of theatrical release.
Jagame Thandhiram is the Indian Tamil language thriller film and it is the most expected film of this year. It is directed and written by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sashikanth and Ramachandra of YNOT Studios, along with Reliance Entertainment. The film stars Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi and James Cosmo, while Joju George and Kalaiyarasan portray supporting roles.
Jagame Thandhiram marks the debut film of Cosmo in Indian film language. It is the most expected film in Kollywood industy in recent timees. The team of Jagame Thandhiram has revealed the release date of the movie two weeks ago as the film will be streaming in Netflix. The film makers has recently released the Jagame Thandhiram trailer earlier in May month.
In the film, Dhanush plays the role of Suruli, a Tamil gangster with global ambitions. Dhanush recently hyped up the character during an interaction on Twitter Spaces. He said, “I like Suruli very much. I keep pestering Karthik Subburaj to write a sequel to Suruli. I like this character so much. I believe that my fans will love this film. I am also confident that besides my fans, others will also appreciate this film.”

Jagame Thandhiram movie is about a local gangster named Suruli (played by Dhanush) who goes to London for a job. The film revolves around him and how he become a gangster and deals with others in London.
