The JBAS College for Women established in 1955. It was founded with Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed. JBAS had the aim to providing the higher education to Women. This college located in Chennai. JBAS affiliated to the University of Madras and is accredited by NAAC and approved by Government of Tamil Nadu. The College responsibilities are taken by the Southern India Education Trust. All eligible women students, irrespective of their religion, caste, creed or community has admissions in this college.
