International Labour’s Day: World Labour’s Day was celebrated on 1st May every year and it is declared as Government Holiday. This year 2017 it falls on Monday and hence people enjoy their holiday with family and friends. In most of the European countries, Labour’s day is celebrated May 1st and it will be a public day and in countries like the USA and Canada International workers day was celebrated in 1st Monday of September every year and it is an annual holiday for them.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted today morning by extending greetings on Labours Day. Prime Minister saluted the ‘determination and hard work’ of workers in the country. The day marks the victory of workers’ movement for eight hours of work. It also aims to pay tribute to workers sacrifices in achieving economic and social rights all over the world.
