RUS vs SAU: Saudi Arabia to play against the host nation Russia today in the opening match of a World Cup. Saudi Arabia failed to perform well in the friendlies as they lost to Italy, Germany and Peru. However, the team has said that their main aim is to defeat Russia in the first match and to make the team-best one.
Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay belong to the Group A of FIFA World Cup standings. In the last five matches, Russia team has not won any matches but Saudi Arabia has won two matches. FIFA World Cup opening ceremony will start earlier today. Around 500 dancers, gymnasts and trampolinists will be performing in an opening that will pay homage to all things.
