TNEA 2017: Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2017-2018) is conducted by Anna university every year to get admissions in Engineering college across the state. Online application forms are released from April 30, 2017, filling of the form begin from May 1 and it continues till may 31 and the candidates are requested to submit the form before the closing date once the form is filled. The application form will be accepted by the university till June 3.
Application
Last date to register and apply for the Tamil Nadu Engineering counselling is May 31, 2017. The applications filled-in online should be downloaded and the printed copy must be sent to the university on or before June 3, 2017 along with documents to be attached. It is submitted to the address “The Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025,” by the candidate through post. The fee for the application form can be paid by Net banking/Credit Card/ Debit card.

Guidelines for Registration and filling of Application
- Before filling the applications read the information and instructions carefully that are provided in the form.
- Use valid mobile number and e-mail address of the candidate.
- Mode of payment for application is through online internet banking / credit card
- Pay for Application form is done and all the registration details are filled
- Once the details are filled, enter “Save and Logout” option so that any data can be modified. Once the print option is selected further modifications cannot be done.
- Review the application form and print option is selected.
- Application number is generated and it is printed in the form.
- Note the Application number for the future use to know the status of your Application.
- Download the filled-in Application form for future use.
Steps to be followed in filling the Application form
- Create Login ID and Password if you are a new user.
- Provide detailed information correctly
- The fee for application form is paid through online mode.
- Academic details are provided
- Review the filled in application and generate PDF
- Application form is submitted and printed
- Send the application form in person or through post along with the required enclosures.
Once the application forms are submitted, random numbers will be released for all candidates on June 20. Based on the Random Numbers the counselling starts from June 27. Stay tuned for more updates on counselling dates, Cut-off marks and Anna university updates.
