KXIP Team IPL 2018: The Kings XI Punjab shortly referred as KXIP are a franchise cricket team based in Mohali, Punjab, that plays in the Indian Premier League. The team KXIP was owned by Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, Wadia Group scion Ness Wadia, Dabur’s Mohit Burman, and Saptarshi Dey. The home matches for the team will be played at the PCA Stadium, Mohali.
Kings XI Punjab has not won the title in IPL so far. So this time for the 11th season of IPL, KXIP owner Preity Zinta was very clever in IP auction and selected the most wanted players for the team. Only Axar Patel (12.5 cr) was retained in the team. R Ashwin from Chennai Super Kings was selected to the team and he was the one who leads KXIP in IPL 2018. Chris Gayle was also in KXIP for this season.
