Kootathil Oruthan Movie Review: Ashok Selvan chooses his role differently likewise his role in the film “Kootathil Oruthan” also different which shows the life and love of a common man who did not notice by anyone. At first, Nivin Pauly was fixed for this project, but due to lack of dates, he never signed this project. So, director T. J. Gnanavel fixed Ashok Selvan for his movie. S. R. Prakashbabu and S.R.Prabhu produced the film under the Dream Warrior Pictures production company. P. K. Varma and Leo John Paul signed as a cinematographer and editor. Nivas K.Prasanna compose the music.
Kootathil Oruthan Movie Story Plot:
The story revolves around the life of an ordinary, lonely man who falls in love with his school class topper and the story begins. Arvind (Ashok Selvan) was a shy type man; he did not speak with anyone unnecessarily. Due to his loneliness nature, nobody knows about him. When Arvind studied in school, he falls in love with his class-topper Janani (Priya Anand). Janani was a brilliant girl, an all-rounder in the school. When they both move on to college Arvind also take the same college where Janani studies. But, sadly, Janani is neither able to recall his name nor remember them being classmates in school. When Arvind expresses his love, Janani rejects him. The remaining story captures the journey of Arvindh after he failed in his love.
Ashok Selvan and Priya Anand play the lead roles, while Samuthirakani, Nasaar, Anupama Kumar, Nancy Jennifer, John Vijay, Bala Saravanan play the supporting roles. The team has filmed a promotional song called Gift song, in which many leading actors from Tamil film industry were a part of it. This song portrays that hope and belief are very important, and everyone in this world is a gift to themselves. It is a different and challenging role, but Ashok does it well. Priya Anand also plays her role merely good. The film is all set to be released on July 28, 2017. Stay tuned for more updates.
